Award Winning Primavera 200 Series The Primavera cello is founded on the extremely popular 200 series violin, which won the Best Bowed String Instrument at the 2013 Music Instrument Association awards. The back, ribs and neck of the instrument have been constructed using carefully selected maple, the front using spruce, the traditional tone wood, this gives a full and resonant sound. Including ebony pegs and fingerboard, the fittings are not only traditionally stylish but very practical and of high quality. A lightweight tailpiece with inbuilt fine tuners makes the tuning easy. Multi-filament Steel strings have been used on the 200 series, we offer the option of upgrading the strings to DAddario Pro-Arte which further enhances the big and warm sound of this instrument.
