Pirate Ship Construction Kit

All aboard the Pirate Ship! This is a play and build set that will build a whole pirate ship, or anything else that you can imagine. The materials are a bit like a rubberised Meccano set - plastic rivets are used to lock together the pieces to form the shapes, but the rods themselves can be bent and turned to make a great variety of models. The kit comes with a screwdriver and spanner that work specifically with the rivets and help you build your model. There are great photographic instructions which help you to build, and as there is no sticking, the whole thing can be dismantled and started again or made into something different! We are really impressed with this range of construction kits - they are suitable for younger children who are not ready for real nuts and bolts, but still have enough of a challenge and the end product is really impressive. You may want to help them in places, but we think that they will figure out a great deal of it and enjoy the textures. A bit different - in a good way!
