Hydrangea 'Light of Day' 9cm

A beautifully formed variegated hydrangea, 'Light o Day' is a lace-cap hydrangea with crisp white florets surrounding a pale pink centre that will make an elegant addition to your garden, brightening any border. Growing into a loose mound, the variegation of the leaves is a creamy white and makes a decorative feature in its own right and when grown in a pot, 'Light o Day' can bring an attractive touch to your decking, patio or balcony. Being a lacecap, the large flower heads consist of sterile white bracts which look like flowers surrounding the smaller pink blooms in a flat cluster and these are super as cut flowers for both summer colour and dried winter arrangements. Easy to grow and relatively compact - it reaches just 1.5m (5ft) high and wide - this is a hydrangea which can be grown by anyone whatever their level of experience.
