Evening Glassblowing Lesson in Bedfordshire

Arts and Crafts Experience Days: This evening glassblowing workshop will teach you the fundamentals of an art form that dates back thousands of years. Learn how to blow molten glass using a traditional blowing iron and tools—and once annealed and cooled you can collect your one-of-a-kind masterpiece, or choose to have it posted for a small fee!Classes are held at a creative glass studio in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. Using the blowing iron, you’ll then learn how to glass blow and shape the molten glass into a sphere, paperweight or vase. You can also apply patterns and colours by rolling the blown glass over a selection of coloured powders and grits.
