Copper Metalsmithing Workshop West Sussex

This Sussex copper metalsmithing workshop is a full day’s introduction to the world of form-folded copper. During the workshop you will learn all about the process of form-folded copper, with step-by-step instruction from an experienced metalsmith. Creating beautiful copper jewellery is a fun way to get in touch with your artistic side and produce something original and beautiful.   The copper folding workshop begins in the morning (10 am) with a quick look at a variety of copper to choose from, safety briefing and an outline of how the day will run. You will have an opportunity to look through a variety of copper creations for inspiration, and then watch the instructor demonstrate how to form-fold copper. When the demonstration is finished, you'll get to try metalsmithing yourself; using copper and a set of specific tools while you get a chance to practice. You’ll have the opportunity to get creative with your copper creation. You will be able to discuss your choice with the instructor, and make your decision based on playing to your strengths along with the ease/difficulty of each design!This workshop is the perfect experience gift for an artistic type who likes to get creative and would make a great day out in Sussex.
