As any professional chef will testify, knowing how to use a knife is the most important skill you can have in the kitchen. In this essential class for cooks of all levels, you'll learn the why's and how's of knife skills, from how to keep your knives razor sharp to how to use your knife to joint poultry and slice and dice fruit and vegetables like a pro before sitting down to a meal made by you with an accompanying glass of wine. LOCATION: All classes are held at the Divertimenti Cookery School - 227 - 229 Brompton Road, London, SW3 2EP. the closest tube stations are South Kensington and Knightsbridge. DURATION: Classes during the day are 3 1/2 hours in length or 3 hours in the evening. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: These classes are only open to 18+ but please do contact us should you wish to book for a younger participant and we can see what we can do. Please wear comfortable flat shoes and have the ability to tie your hair up and back. All equipment and utensils will be provided. There will be a maximum of 9 students in participation.
