During this full-day experience you’ll explore what London’s Chinatown has to offer, followed by a hands-on cooking class at School of Wok. This full-day, fully immersive class is all about exploring! You’ll begin with a tasting tour of Chinatown, followed by a 3-hour, hands-on cooking class in the subject of your choice. You’ll leave School of Wok kitchens well watered and fed, with a deeper understanding of London’s Chinatown, including where to shop, what ingredients to buy, and how to use them, along with a signed copy of Jeremy Pang’s cookbook; Chinese Unchopped. Location: London’s Covent Garden (nearest tube station Charing Cross). Duration: 5 1/2 hours including tour, cooking class, and eating time. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: All ingredients and equipment will be provided, all you need to bring is your curiosity and appetite and a bit of money if you want to take home extra goodies from Chinatown. For health and safety reasons we ask that you wear flat, closed-toe shoes as you will be working with sharp knives and hot liquids. School of Wok can cater for most dietary restrictions, so please make sure to indicate any allergies when booking!
