A handy and stylish mug for your everyday travels A great gift for that coffee lover who is always on the go. Why have to drink your morning drink out of a plastic travel cup when you could have it in a beautiful ceramic cup. A choice of 4 glaze combos and comes with a grey silicon lid and a choice of 4 different coloured fabric bands or a grey silicon band to keep your hands protected from the heat. Protective band - a choice of a grey silicon band or mix and match your bands and cups with a coloured fabric band to get the perfect colour combination for you or your friend! All products are available in a beautiful grey gift box. With a ribbed satin ribbon and rustic brown string with a hand made porcelain 'With Love' heart shaped tag. All work is hand-thrown in my Wiltshire garden Studio; I use a blend of stoneware clays to find that perfect speckle that runs through all my work. Each piece starts from a ball of clay that is shaped and formed into the desired shape, using just my hands and a few wooden tools. They are then left to dry slowly over night and the next day I trim the bases and add handles to mugs. They are then left to fully dry and about a week later they go into there first bisq firing up to 1000 degrees. After about 48 hours when the pieces are cool enough to unload from the kiln I sand any rough parts and glaze them in my unique coastal inspired glazes. They then go back into the kiln to 1260 degrees and 48 hours later the kiln is unloaded and the new products are ready to be wrapped up to be sent to their new homes! Cup is microwave and dishwasher safe but remove fabric band before cleaning. Fabric bands made from a durable cotton canvas that can be put in the washing machine alongside your normal washes.
