Cephalanthus 'Magical Moonlight' (Buttonbush) plant in a 3L Pot

Introducing one of this year's must-have plants, the unique and totally captivating Button Bush! Named for the shape of its flowers, this new hardy shrub will be a highlight in your garden and will be the source of much admiration! Its tiny tube-shaped blooms are gathered into globe-shaped clusters with protruding yellow tipped stamens giving an ethereal starburst effect and the blooms are intensely fragrant attracting a host of friendly insects, including butterflies galore!  The show doesn't stop with the flowers though... The glossy green leaves are a feature in their own right and turn a fabulous golden-orange in the autumn, plus new stems are blushed red - all adding much needed colour to your garden. Even in winter, when the leaves have fallen, you get to see this stunning plant in yet another incarnation - the stems of mature plants form an attractive, twisted sculpture that cannot fail to impress. Forming a naturally rounded shrub it loves a moist spot and would be at home planted by a pond but also makes a great container plant in a sunny position.
