B&N C grade cello This cello is hand-carved and made by Beijing luthiers with excellent attention to detail. The spruce top has a fine even grain and the maple used for the back and ribs is nicely flamed giving the instrument a superb appearance and a lovely tone. Our C grade cello has an ebony tailpiece, chin rest, pegs and endpin. The instrument is hand varnished with a chestnut brown oil-based varnish and given an antique finish.
