Grasp the fragrant flavours of Thailand as our chef gives you a hands-on class on Thai cooking techniques and ingredients. Thai food is huge in the UK and this is your chance to master the art of mixing the hot, sour, salty and sweet flavours which are vital to its success. Our Thai cooking class gets to grips with this fragrant and wonderfully flavoured cuisine, teaching you about the ingredients essential to authentic Thai cooking and enabling you to create mouth-watering dishes. Our Thai cooking course will teach you how best to cook using a pestle & mortar as well as sharpening your knife skills and mastering how to prepare ahead. Then using local produce and authentic Thai ingredients, it's down to the task of creating our tempting Thai dishes. Plus you'll not only create, you'll also taste, taking time to enjoy everything you cook. DISHES: -Som Tam Salad (Green Papaya Salad) - Thai Fishcakes and Tom Yum Gung (soup) - Green Chicken Curry LOCATION: Studio 8, 6 Hornsey Street, The Islington Studios, London N7 8GR. We are a 2 minutes walk from Holloway Tube station (2 stops from Kings Cross), 10 minutes walk from Highbury and Islington station and 7 minutes walk from Caledonian station. DURATION: 2 hours WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: We will provide everything you need for the class including aprons, all ingredients and packaging if you wish to take away the dishes you have prepared. Please allow at least 30 minutes to feast on your creations in our dining room afterwards. Our classes usually have less than 6 guests. If the class has more than 8 guests, there will be additional chefs on hand to lead the class. The maximum guests per class is 12. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements when booking the class.
