Kicking off with a meet and greet session over drinks and pastries at a chic restaurant within the Market, you'll then accompany Celia on the only official Borough Market tasting tour. As a passionate food expert, Celia will show you the best that London's oldest and most renowned food market has to offer and lavish you with carefully selected tastings of the unique foods on offer there. You will taste a bounty of treats, including freshly cooked meats, fine cheeses from Britain and beyond, superfood juices, fresh seafood, plus many more special seasonal and exotic products, whilst hearing the stories behind the creation of these fabulous artisan foods and meeting the passionate traders. A tutored wine tasting is also included in this uniquely educational, demystifying, and palate-pampering Borough Market experience. (All diets can be catered for where possible.) LOCATION: Borough Market, London. London Bridge tube station is right outside the Market DURATION: 3 hours WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW Tours take place two or more Fridays per month from 10.00am-1.00pm. Generous tasters and samples including alcohol are all included in the price, so there's no need to bring anything on the day (other than a bottle of water and an appetite). Most diets can be catered for but if you have any allergies or dietary requirements, please let us know at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate. Please note: described tastings may vary slightly. Usual group size is up to 12 people. As the tour is conducted on foot, we advise wearing comfy shoes. Minimum age 18.
